Activity 3: Design Yourself as a Robot!

We’re excited to kick off the last activity of our 2026 Kid’s Summer Book Club! This year, join us as we read The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. We’ve enjoyed seeing all of your fantastic robot creations and ideas over the summer. Thank you to everyone who participated!

This week, we're diving into a fun activity that reflects on what you've read so far in The Wild Robot.

Activity 2:

For our final activity, we’re drawing ourselves as a robot! After reading how Roz changes throughout the book, it’s time to imagine what we might be like as a robot! Ask yourself the following questions before you get started:

• If you were a robot, what would you look like? What special or unique traits would make you a one-of-a-kind robot?

• If you could add a talent or skill that you don’t currently have, what would it be?

• What would your robot be designed to do, and what would make it uniquely you?

Draw your robot self using your favorite art materials and colors. Use different shapes, symbols, images, and more to make your robot truly personal to you! Share your design with us for a chance to be featured on our social media!
