Wendy Chidester (American 1964) was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a BFA from the University of Utah and continues to live and work in the region. Her detailed paintings focus on antique and vintage objects such as luggage, toys, and typewriters, highlighting their history and craftsmanship. Through careful observation, she preserves and reexamines everyday artifacts from the past.
