Piao Xue Cheng
Piao Xue Cheng (Chinese 1954) is a portrait painter trained at Harbin University, where he graduated in 1984, and later at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. He worked as a professional artist with the China Railway system from 1974 to 1992 and became a member of the China Artists Association in 1987. Cheng’s work combines elements of Chinese and European oil painting traditions, focusing on carefully observed, realistic portrayals of his subjects.
