Chica Brunsvold (American 1940) is known as a painter and Signature Member of the National and American Watercolor Societies. Originally trained in abstract expressionism, she developed a distinctive practice recognizing animal forms within painterly textures. She earned B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Michigan and later served as an Illustrator General with the CIA before continuing her artistic career.
