The Ellen Noël Art Museum’s Grand Opening is almost here! Join us on Saturday, December 6, 2025, starting with our official ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 PM to kick off a day full of art, music, and creativity. From 1:00–3:30 PM, explore our reimagined galleries, enjoy hands-on activities like ornament-making, coloring stations, and photo spots, and participate in our family-friendly wooden gingerbread house workshop with two time slots, 1:15–2:15 PM and 2:30–3:30 PM ($20 per spot, register on our website). Enjoy live music from the ECISD Harp Ensemble starting at 1:30 PM, and at 4:00 PM, gather in the FMH Community Room for an inspiring talk with Lesley Frowick, niece and biographer of iconic fashion designer Halston, as she shares insights from our inaugural exhibition, Halston: Inventing American Fashion. We’ll also have our traveling exhibition, 1968: A Folsom Redemption, featuring photographs from Johnny Cash’s legendary performances at Folsom State Prison. Stop by the information table to learn about upcoming classes and programs, and become a new Museum Member for a chance to win an exclusive swag bag!
