Scott Ponemone
Scott Ponemone (American 1953) is a painter and printmaker whose work explores human connection through portraiture and crafted works on paper. He studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and later developed a distinguished career as both an artist and design editor. Working primarily in watercolor, linocut, and wood engraving, Ponemone combines careful observation with a direct, intimate approach, creating images that emphasize the individuality, dignity, and relationships of his subjects through simplified compositions and masterful draftsmanship.
