Nolan Preece
Nolan Preece (American 1947) is a photographer and printmaker whose work explores the intersection of traditional and experimental image-making processes. He received his MFA in photography and printmaking from Utah State University in 1980. Working with media including platinum prints, silver gelatin, intaglio, digital photography, and chemigrams, Preece emphasizes the creative dialogue between process and concept, producing works that investigate abstraction, materiality, and the expressive possibilities of photographic printmaking.
