Georgia O'Keeffe

Georgia O'Keeffe (American 1887-1986) was a pioneering modernist artist best known for her paintings and drawings that transformed natural forms into bold, abstract compositions.

Her Georgia O’Keeffe Drawings portfolio, published in 1968 by Atlantis Editions, is a landmark presentation of her work on paper. Personally selected and signed by O’Keeffe, the limited edition included 230 numbered copies, each containing ten large-format lithographic reproductions spanning her career. Introduced by art historian Lloyd Goodrich, the portfolio highlights the importance of O’Keeffe’s early abstract drawings, recognized as among the earliest examples of American abstraction, while demonstrating the range and evolution of her distinctive visual language.
