Tina Fuentes (American 1949) is a Texas-based painter and printmaker. Born in San Angelo and raised in Odessa, she earned both her BFA and MFA from North Texas State University. Fuentes has taught throughout Texas and New Mexico and serves as Professor in the School of Art at Texas Tech University. Her practice is closely tied to her roles in arts education, public arts programming, and service on regional and state arts advisory panels, including appointments with the New Mexico State Arts Division and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
