Martha Kellar
Martha Kellar (American 1949) is a painter known for still lifes, figurative works, and landscapes. Born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, she later studied fine art at Murray State University in Kentucky and began her professional career in 1979. Initially working exclusively in pastel, Kellar became a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America in 1985 after receiving her first national painting award. Since transitioning primarily to oil painting in 1989, her work has earned national recognition and has been exhibited regularly at institutions including the National Arts Club and the Salmagundi Club in New York.
