Carmelo Cappello

Carmelo Cappello (Italian 1912–1996) was an Italian-born American sculptor known for his innovative approach to modern abstraction. Born in Ragusa, Sicily, he immigrated to the United States as a child and later studied at the Pratt Institute in New York.
