Michelle Torrez (American 1956) is a painter known for expressive figurative works that combine bold color, energetic brushwork, and emotional depth. Born in Denver, Colorado, she earned an associate degree in Advertising Design from the Colorado Institute of Art before working as an art director and muralist. She later studied fine art at the Art Students League of Denver with Kim English, Dale Chisman, and Quang Ho.
