Michael Steiner
Michael Steiner (American 1945) is known as an abstract artist associated with the Bennington School, a group of artists connected to Bennington College known for innovative approaches to abstraction. Working in both painting and sculpture, Steiner creates compositions built from repetitive geometric forms and carefully structured patterns that explore rhythm, space, and perception. In recognition of his artistic achievements, he received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1971.
