Jørgen Waring
Jørgen Waring (Danish 1938-2022) was an artist and designer whose work is strongly influenced by African wildlife and culture. In addition to his career in art, design, and décor, he worked for over a decade as a safari leader in Kenya during the summers from the mid-1960s through 1976. During this period, he developed a body of paintings inspired by Maasai and Samburu cultures, which became a defining focus of his artistic practice.
