Jeanne Silverthorne
Jeanne Silverthorne (American 1950) is a sculptor known for small-scale, psychologically charged works that transform everyday studio materials into evocative objects. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (BA) and the University of California, Irvine (MFA), where she developed a conceptual approach to sculpture. Her work often uses rubber, plaster, and cast fragments to explore fragility, entropy, and the illusion of permanence in contemporary life.
