Daisy Patton

Daisy Patton (American 1982) works with old, abandoned family photographs, enlarging and painting over them to bring forgotten figures back to life. Using bold colors and floral patterns, she transforms static images into acts of remembrance, creating a space between past and present. Her work invites viewers to reflect on family, memory, and loss, exploring how stories are passed down and how our bodies and images carry the histories of those who came before us. Patton earned her MFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston/Tufts University, a multi-disciplinary program, and has a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Oklahoma with minors in History and Art History and an Honors degree.
