Jennifer Bobola
Jennifer Bobola (American 1974) is a Denver-based abstract expressionist whose work bridges painting and music. Viewing abstraction as a form of realism, she builds layered compositions of color, shape, and gesture that function like visual jazz—improvisational, rhythmic, and emotive. A trained saxophonist who has performed since childhood, Bobola approaches painting as a parallel language to music, where tone and movement guide composition. Influenced by her transient upbringing and background in both art and music, her work balances structure and spontaneity.
