Robert Yasuda
Robert Yasuda (American 1940) is an abstract painter and installation artist known for works that explore perception, light, and spatial experience. Born in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, he studied at the Pratt Institute in New York, where he earned both his BFA and MFA degrees and developed his connection to the New York School. Beginning in the 1970s, Yasuda gained recognition for large-scale wall paintings and installation works.
