Christopher Stanley
Born in Iowa City and raised in Kansas City, Christopher Stanley (American 1964), earned his BFA in Design from the University of Kansas in 1988 and his MFA from Washington State University in 1991. Since 1992, he has lived in Odessa, where he serves as Associate Professor of Art at the University of Texas Permian Basin. Robo Rocket Pot highlights his playful “Rocket” shapes and innovative use of stenciled imagery.
