Bill Worrell
Bill Worrell (American 1936–2021) was a Texas sculptor, painter, and printmaker whose work drew inspiration from the ancient pictographs and petroglyphs of the Lower Pecos River region. He earned a BA from Texas Tech University and an MFA in painting and drawing, with a minor in sculpture, from the University of North Texas. During an eighteen-year teaching career, he served as Associate Professor of Art at Odessa College and Professor of Art at Houston Baptist University.
