Carlos Hall
Carlos Hall (American, 1928–1997) was a painter whose work focused on the culture and traditions of Native American communities in the American Southwest. Raised in Taos, New Mexico, Hall developed an early connection to the region’s landscape and Indigenous heritage, themes that became central to his artistic practice. Working primarily known for his paintings, he became known for expressive portrayals of Native American subjects that emphasize atmosphere, history, and cultural identity.
