Katherine Ace

Katherine Ace (American 1953-2023) was born in Chicago and developed an early passion for oil painting, beginning formal study at the Art Institute of Chicago. She earned her degree from Knox College in 1975. After college, she worked in a range of art-related roles across the U.S., including illustration, portraiture, and graphic work. Her career includes editorial illustration for textbooks and numerous commissioned portrait projects.
