Alfonse Borysewicz
Alfonse Borysewicz (American 1957) is a Brooklyn-based painter whose work engages deeply with spiritual and perceptual themes. He earned a B.A. from Sacred Heart Seminary and an M.A. from St. John’s Provincial Seminary before continuing his studies at the Studio School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (1982-1984). Borysewicz has received significant recognition, including two fellowships from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1995.
