Come explore the exciting world of art with the Ellen Noël Art Museum’s Adventures in Art, a fun program of gallery walks, art history and creative studio art classes for children Ages 6-12. Held ONE Sunday each month from 2:30pm-4:30pm. These classes are great ways for kids to learn more about art! Class size is limited so register today!

• Nov. 3 | Drawing | Take inspiration from the work of many famous photographers in the History of Photography exhibit as you learn about negative/positive space.

Dec. 8 | Calligraphy | See the beautiful texts in the Sacred Scripts exhibit and create your own “illuminated” writing

Jan. 12 | Portraits | Paint a portrait inspired by the images from the Willford Collection

Feb. 2 | Ceramics | Learn about the work of James Watkins and create a hand built ceramic bowl

Mar. 1 | 3D Design | View the permanent collection gallery and choose your own favorite work for inspiration to make a wall hanging piece

Apr. 5 | Landscapes | Explore the vibrant work of Alice Leese and create a landscape using oil pastels

May 3 | Sculpture | Tour the Regional show and make a sculpture from traditional materials
