Spring is here, and that means it’s Flower Market time.

Every year, during the last weekend in March or the first weekend in April, the Ellen Noël Art Museum holds Flower Market – a fundraiser to support replanting, maintenance and programming for the Museum’s Sculpture and Sensory Garden.

Designed especially for the 6,000 legally-blind residents of the Permian Basin, this garden is an ongoing collaboration between the Permian Basin Master Gardeners, the Department of Rehabilitative Services: Blind Division, and the Museum. Since the Museum charges no admission, proceeds from Flower Market are essential to provide this unique asset for the community.

The Museum actively seeks sponsors for this event. If you are interested in helping underwrite costs for this important fundraising event (wholesale purchase of plants, printing of announcements, postage, newspaper and television ads, decorations and feeding of volunteers and vendors), please call 550-9696, ext. 14.  As allowed by deadlines, sponsors are included in all advertising and media releases and, of course, are invited to the preview party.
