November 8 through December 30, 2007
Guest Curator, Steven Porterfield
With the universal appeal of fashion, Steve Porterfield’s vast collection of vintage wear unveils the dramatic story of clothing. Each decade that spans 200 years is represented with period styles and accessories including purses, hats, shoes, shawls, jewelry, as a well as women’s undergarments.

A special feature of the exhibit includes a Victorian truck with clothing, toys and letters of a young girl detailing her Christmas visit to a friend. Additional etchings and clothing patterns from various periods will also be included in the display.
